My favorite characters is Reid but I adore Hotch and Garcia. And JJ, Emily *g*... yeah - sometimes I like the characters as much as the plot!

The chemistry. I saw Revelations and could not resist (not that I'd ever want to)

LDSK, Revelations, Amplification, and I'm in love with Season 5 right now - new DVDs and all...

Hey all! *Diggin' all the H/R lovin' around here!* I'm Amy. Call me ohmy. Or Amy. Whatevs. Long time lurker and reader. I'm nodano on Twitter. Dreamyoxymoron on LJ (which I admittedly don't use like I ought to). Ohmyspencer on CBS (yeech to CBS) forums. And I'm ohspencermyspencer on FF.net, where I have published two CM stories. I did one story based on a Twitpic that MGG posted I'm kinda proud of and amused by. I'm fully into the H/R universe, I just don't have the courage to write a cuddily H/R fic.......YET! Totally obsessed with CM. I think TG is breathtaking and MGG.....Oh HOW I love him. I'm 43. I don't care if he's pushing 31! *YUMMO* Those eyes! My other fandoms are CSI and CSI:Miami. (David Caruso's voice=PURRRR). ANY incarnation of Star Trek. And I really like Warehouse 13. Oh and House. Yes, I'm a nerd!!!.....is that so suprizing?  Anywhooo. That's me in a nutshell. Hello everyone! ;D What's your name? Catherine. or Cat (never Cathy though. Don't know why, I just don't like it. ) What's your favorite color? Black. I'm also quite fond of purple and grey. Who's your favorite CM character? It took me a while to figure this one actually, what with all the amazing characters, but now I have no hesitation: Hotch. Brave, upstanding, controlled, smart, dedicated, he's all kind of perfect. on a more shallow level, his voice also does so many things to me and so does his handsome stern face.  What drew you to H/R? mmh... as a slasher, I'm always quickly aware of slash ships, so when I got into CM and decided to check the fandom, the first thing I encountered was Morgan/Reid. Which made sense, though I didn't see it at first (I mean I saw the closeness, protectiveness and playful teasing, but I interpreted it as more brotherly than shippy), so I watched some vids and read some fics. It was hot and all, but didn't convinced me that much, so I decided to put my slash goggles aside and watch CM as an amazing ensemble show (which was what attracted me in the first place so it was fine). and then the staring, the pointed and longing looks and amazing dynamics happened and I was more than convinced. and for some reason, despite the age gap and the fact Hotch is Reid's boss, I can easily picture a balanced relationship between those two. Not a case of "I need to sink one ship to keep mine afloat" but I think that dynamics-wise, Hotch's patience and subdued understanding would be better for Reid than Morgan's fierce protectiveness. also three words: hot, hot HOT ;D aaand I made an essay.  What's your favorite episode? I discovered CM not too long ago and raced my way through the seasons twice, so it may be too soon to say, but I have an immense, tremendous love for "The Uncanny Valley". Great story and beautiful cinematography aside, it shows how much Reid has grown through the seasons, how he became his own man. His quick and dead-on educated guess was amazing, the tongue-slapping awesome, and the asimov's quote at the end slew me because it's not just a clever quote, it's a simple yet amazing statement on life and resilience, one that Reid, despite the losses, fear and heartbreaks he encountered through the years, without a doubt made his. and as you can see, the art of making short sentences and concise answers eludes me. |

i am drawn to their character since revelation
a simple phrase of ' i knew you'd understand' caught on me and at that moment i knew this is one of the best chemistry in term of character relationship.at first, i shipped them as father/son dynamic but then reid kept throwing this glance at hotch, i went like woah, reid get a grip!i knew from that moment there are more than admiration and respect, he definitely had or still ( right now )in love with hotch. hotch understanding and patience way with reid amazed me.it seem that he is the only one who is able to get reid's quirky way.only Hotch able to stop reid from rambling.
to conclude on my favourite episodes:
revelation: they are not in the same screenshot, but the unspoken grief hotch displayed and reid cryptic message to hotch is probably one of their best scene
tabula rasa: they spent so much time together in this episode(which now rarely seen, which i dread)and the chemical reaction is further enhance--the amazing dynamic they have in solving on the unsub whereabouts.
what can i cay, i am such a fanatic when it comes to hotch/reid.i f i rule the criminal minds, i would call a spinoff for them, but alas..they rarely pairing on cases anymore..
looking forward to have fun here with you guys

yes, this. I can't remember how many times my eyebrows went to meet my hairline while I felt like waving at the screen and signal them how obvious they are. not that I mind of course.
it's the first episode of criminal minds I ever saw, before deciding to check it out a few months later.
I loved it and still do. It has SO many great moments between the team: the reveal of Prentiss's goth past (the fact Reid knows Siouxie and the banshees had me reeling), the many first meetings (how sweet is it that first "babygirl"), Hotch quietly oh snapping the defense attorney while Reid looks so damn proud (and in love).
and now I'll stop spamming the thread.
