*noms on him* idk. the non-continuity is sort of endearing - gwen randomly falling in love with arthur with NO PRECEDENT WHATSOEVER, the completely lulz-y foreshadow-y lance/gwen/arthur triangle, merlin just being hopeless all the time and pretty much never catching a break. it's not that it's bad acting, not at all - it's just that the plot is so whacked out that if it was better writing the audience would be more hung up on the plot twists than the bad writing (which is the way it is now, I think). i dunno if any of y'all have seen the Star Trek TOS episode The Arena, but here's a picture of the villain:  LIKE MY SIGNATURE SAYS: QUESTIONABLE TASTE. *ahem* The fanfiction is amazingly awfully good though. SO I watch it to be apart of the fandom mostly. So that makes up for the bad writing on the show.

mm, that makes sense. Star Trek is such an amazingly OLD FANDOM that there's tons of culture already, which is nice.

...I like TNG. =_= Don't quite care for most of TOS though, DS9 and Enterprise are the only other Star Treks I can watch with any length to... and DS9 started to disappoint later on it's life cycle... they should have spaced it for the fandom to recoup like they had with TOS to TNG, and TNG to DS9... it wasn't a straight transition, but the others were... it was like a spin off instead of a new series, then the old series fell away and bah... it got too outlandish and annoying. TNG is ftw to me. XD
I heart Will Riker and Diana Troy (and Jean Luke... of course). I've never delved into the fanfics... but that's only because my nerdiness is NOT to the point of knowing slight references to the game boards they have so I'd fail in their fanfic... not observant enough to pull it off. XD Unlike with Reid. *Dreamy sigh* Mmmm fan-girl delight.
Also, this is more of a side note since I don't know an appropriate board for this-- has anyone besides me read the three novels for Criminal Minds? (Not like Max Allen Collins is a good writer, EITHER... =_= or that he gives us fan girls much to work with since he hearts Rossi and Gideon more than the others... lol)

TNG had Q, who was so flaming it was quite honestly DISTRACTING. NO ONE IN THAT ERA HAD EYES, OK. HE WAS DEFINITELY IN LOVE WITH PICARD. I have no love for DS9/Enterprise only because I've never watched them. (I heard they were more plotty and I dig my episodic scifi wtf shows. Most of my friends into ST dig ENT and DS9, though, so I bet they're good.  ) Do you ship anything Trekkish? Ahaha, I haven't read them - are they worth it? I've heard some fannish delight over H/R tidbits, but nothing more substantial. |

XD As I said, I just can't manage to obsess enough over the details for it tp be practical to even try. XD The books do give some very, very small slivers of something okay to use in them... I have 2 of my 3 novels right now since one is on loan to my coworker, and they gave me some ideas to some extent within them, but I don't have the quick references for anything except the first novel... Sooooo since I don't have it in my possession, no quoting will take place. Well, maybe later, when he finishes it. XD Then another coworker wants to see wth we were fanning over, so he wants to read it too. XD I WILL convert my coworkers, I WILL. XD *Evil plots of fandomination* |

Ahaha that's reasonable, entirely. (oh oh oh I heard at least one of the writers thought Q was gay for Picard~)
I'll have to give them a spin, I'm a sucker for that sort of stuff - although the Star Wars Expanded Universe novels have been sort of on-and-off good. But they've started killing off the main characters of old age and I think they need to stop now.
What do y'all think of reality TV?

I'm not a Star Wars fan at all... I only do Star Trek... ohhh trivia- Q also played Benton Quest in Jonny Quest (The Real Adventures of) Season 2. XD I melted when I heard him. XD

It's about this family, in the first episode the father dies and it turns out he had a lot of secrets. It also follows the lives of the 5 brothers and sisters, their families, relationships and careers and how the intertwine with each others stories. It's a great show. Also been watching a lot of Skins lately |

So I love(d) a lot of tv shows like: ER - I'm still in denial, no, it's not finished, they just don't air the new episodes!!!!! stfu. CSI - Well I don't watch it anymore because SERIOUSLY how could they do that to Warrick???!!!! CSI NY - if I deny everything related to Danny/Lindsay I'm fine with this show. I hate Lindsay. grrrrr. Numb3rs - Or how to fall in love with a 1 episode character aka Billy Cooper. XD The Unit - Because Max Martini is the best (as is his name) and I, the hard slasher girl, is in love with a het pairing: Mack/Tiffy. *_____* Castle - I <3 Richard Castle and his totally strange family. Doctor Who - Until Eleven. I'm sorry for him but Ten will always be my Doctor. </3 Glee - Because of Jesse St James. I want him back!!!! Grey's Anatomy - Owen Harper is the reason I still watch this show. L&O SVU - Chris Meloni is THE dilf. XD L&O CI - The best L&O. Oz - Did I told you that Chris Meloni is THE dilf? Because really he is. I really love Chris Keller, how bad he is and how much he love Toby. Leeloni forever! And I love O'Reilly too. Man, I so dream of a x-over Oz/Criminal Minds <3 The Black Donnellys - I still have to finish to watch this show but so far I love it.
