Here's the fic Stakes and Cookouts by wonderful Fabrisse:

Which made me think again of jealous Morgan.
We all prefer coming-out to the team nice and smooth, with everybody supporting the guys from threats from outside, and, to think of it, it's highly possible that it'll be this way.
But I can't help but think that the most problems Hotch and Reid are going to get from Morgan.
I think I've seen at least 3 fics with Morgan reacting bad to the news about them being a couple. Still trying to locate the first ones I've seen about it. Anyways. The question that was brought in the above-mentioned fic hit me again.
Will Morgan really be OK with the man he considers his friend having an affair with their boss? Looking from team dynamics I can't help but think that Morgan has some kind of competitive streak towards Hotch. Even more so, if we think about his talk with Rossi, after Faceless, Nameless. And if we consider the history Morgan has with power balance in the relationship - ie Buford - wouldn't it be felt as Hotch is using Reid in some way?
If we look at the situation from this side, the response would be very strong. But I can't help but think that the most negativity would be aimed at Hotch. Even if Morgan doesn't make fun of nerd!Reid after everything, I still can't help but think that he doesn't really consider Spencer as "equal". Possibly he'd automatically assert some kind of more vulnerable (feminine?) role to Reid.
And what if Morgan decides to make a pass at Reid after he'll learn that him and Hotch are in relationship? What part of it would be feelings of love/longing/admiration etc, and what part would be trying to "save" his friend from un-equal relationship?
I'm very interested in how this situation would work out in case we won't see it in "ponies and butterflies" light.

I'm wont to believe that he'd either react heatedly because of his rediscovered faith or distrust in homosexuality due to sexual abuse by a same-sex counterpart, and don't know if he'd be okay with it for that sense, too. Morgan has lots of reasons to be unsupportive, actually... we all just do tend to try for him being understanding to friends, but they might be the very people he'd push away because of it.
