Ok, so i had another crazy idea... i know what ur thinking, oh emz, not again. But here we go...
Gideon and Elle have hooked up, not in a relationship sense, after leaving the BAU and are traveling the country together. Somewhere in america, there is a load of murders in this particularly city or town. They find out and Gideon being Gideon, he can't help sticking his nose in. Anyway, in the end, the police call in the BAU who come to help, not knowing that Gideon & elle are there.
The team arrived and are shocked to find them there. Things between the two teams are very tense, especially for Reid who is having a hard time with Gideon being there and Elle thinking he is the best thing in the world. Fortunately for him, he is with Hotch who is being his backbone and being supportive & protective at the same time. The tension keeps building and cracks are being to show, especially when Gideon tries to give his insight at the briefing and reid points out to him that he is no longer an agent or a member of the bau so he should sit down and shut up. Gideon is shocked and so is the rest of the team, they finish the briefing and Hotch has a chat with reid, who is beyond pissed off and stressed.
It all comes to a head later in either the day or week, Elle, Gideon and the team are in a discussion, things get heated reid decides to leave before he says something, Gideon or Elle says something to him and he snaps. He then pours out all his anger & hurt & hatred that has built up towards Gideon and rips into him, taking him apart like a profiler, pointing out all his flaws just generally getting all of it out, elle decides to butt in and says something along the lines of he should be grateful for Gideon being in his life, and he tells her about the whole tobias incident and how gideon because of his need to control things actually killed him, just like he had done with her, which of course she blamed hotch for when it was actually gideons fault if he had just played the game. He then tells her that he liked her and respected her but seeing her fawn over gideon just made her pathetic in his eyes before turing onto Gideon that he may think his games worked before but they don't now, he knows every trick and game he could play and he isn't playing and if he thought he missed him, he had another thing coming before storming out with Hotch hot on his heels, leaving the team looking uncomfortable and gideon & elle realing.
Now, i didn't get to how it ended, sorry! But the only thing that i thought should be in it is, after Reid basically bitch slaps gideon round the carpet, Gideon and Rossi have a discussion and Rossi cuts him down to size and when Gideon says he doesn't know who reid is anymore, rossi tells him the truth, reid has grown and changed without him, where he hasn't changed at all.
And thats it.
